Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of spectrumconnect.us and the Spectrum Connect app (“Spectrum Connect,” “we,” “us”). By joining the waitlist or creating an account, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Spectrum Connect

You must be 18 or older and a parent, guardian, or primary caregiver of a child. Information you give about yourself and your child must be accurate, and you may only share information about a child you care for. One account per person; keep your password to yourself.

Not medical advice

Spectrum Connect is a peer community, not a medical, clinical, or therapeutic service. Research summaries show where the evidence stands; tips from other parents describe what worked for their family. Neither is a recommendation for your child. Make treatment decisions with qualified professionals. In an emergency, call 911.

How to treat other families

• Be honest and kind. Every family here is carrying a lot.
• Keep what another family shares with you private. Don’t screenshot, repost, or forward their messages, profile, or child’s details.
• No selling, recruiting, or promoting products, services, or treatments, and no harassment, discrimination, or pressure to meet.
• Don’t try to identify a family from information they haven’t shared.

You can report anyone in the app. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules, without notice when safety requires it.

Meeting in person

We introduce families but don’t run background checks. If you meet, choose a public place, tell someone where you’re going, and trust your judgment. You are responsible for your own and your child’s safety.

Your content

You own what you write. By posting a tip (“pebble”) or message, you let us store and show it to the people it’s meant for, and, for published pebbles, keep showing it to other parents without your name after you leave. Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share.

Our service

We’re in an early launch and matching may be done partly by hand. We may change, pause, or stop features. You can stop using Spectrum Connect and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers and limits

Spectrum Connect is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee matches, outcomes, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we aren’t responsible for what other families say or do. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll email account holders before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of California. Questions: hello@spectrumconnect.us.
